The location of our hotel is right on the edge of the old town, up above. At first glance, this might seem negative, but it actually has a magnificent location. Right as you step out of the hotel, you find yourself at the beginning of the liveliest two shopping streets in the city. You can stroll around until late at night. Walking down from the hotel, you can effortlessly see all the historical sights. Its location doesn't require any transportation; you can walk across the bridge to the farthest point on the other side of the river. If you get too tired, you can take an Uber taxi back to the hotel for just 6 Euros. The most impressive part of the hotel is its cafe and restaurant located on the top floor. Before heading out for the night, you can enjoy a drink and meal while taking in the magnificent panoramic view of the entire city. I believe it's one of the most beautiful spots in the city. We stayed in the family room on the upper floor. I recommend opting for the panoramic view rooms; they're definitely worth it. When making a reservation, you might also consider adding breakfast; it's a lovely spread for the money. Additionally, they offer luggage storage for early or late check-ins/check-outs. I would choose to stay here again without hesitation, so feel free to make a reservation.

We had a large perfect room on the 12th fl with a 6ft wide very comfortable bed. The room had a balcony overlooking the city which even at the end of November was worth it. We chose the hotel because it was right next door to a large public car park (£65 for 3 nights) and we were driving around Portugal. It is about a 15-minute walk to the centre of the city sights and only 5 minutes from the market. If booking I suggest you request a room on the upper floors overlooking the city. It has several fast lifts. All the staff were very nice and extreemly helpful. We did an Uber from the hotel to the far side of the river to get to the Port Houses as that would have been a 30 - 40 minute walk.

Loved our stay on the 6th floor, a lovely room with a generous size bathroom, great amenities, a really comfortable bed, and pillows. Great towels in the bathroom with a walk-in shower and enough room for toiletries, etc. Great bar up tip, with a nice selection of food and drinks. The restaurant was next floor up. Breakfast whilst not included in our tariff was good, plentiful, and enjoyable. Big shout out to housekeeping, language was difficult for all parties, but continually smiling, with great service. Overall, I highly recommend. It's not central but an easy Uber ride away. Weather was abysmal whilst in Porto but still managed.

From the outside the hotel looks rather scary but do not fear. As soon as you enter you are welcomed by a friendly and professional staff and nice ambience. The hotel has been renovated and refurbished so everything inside is elegant, clean and new. The bed is very comfortable and the views exceptional (I stayed on the 15th floor). The breakfast buffet was good. The location is just great, close to the metro so very easy to get to from the airport and in walking distance from major attractions. The rooftop bar is amazing. Highly recommend and if I come to Porto again I will definitely go there again. Good value for money.

Beautiful hotel in a convenient location: everything is at a walking distance as a tourist in Porto. The building look old on the outside but is very cosy inside, clean and well decorated. Bed in room 1405 was excellent, and we appreciated the italian-style shower and the general mood that emanates from it. There is a bar/restaurant at the top with a nice view, and the waiters gladly opened the second terrace on the roof because we were a group of 9 coming to have a drink watching the sunset! Every member of the hotel was very kind and obliging. It undeniably deserves its 4 stars.
